Job description
Our esteemed client in Dubai is seeking a professional and experienced Governess to provide dedicated care and guidance for a 7-year-old boy. The ideal candidate will be firm and disciplined while remaining nurturing and supportive, able to balance structure with engaging educational and recreational activities.
The child is active and sporty, with a particular interest in basketball and football, and the governess will be expected to encourage his growth both academically and physically.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care, guidance, and supervision for a 7-year-old boy.
- Implement structure and discipline in a firm yet supportive manner.
- Plan and oversee educational activities to support learning and personal development.
- Encourage and participate in sports and recreational activities, especially basketball and football.
- Support homework and academic progress in collaboration with the parents.
- Accompany the child to and from school with the support of a driver and bodyguard.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating environment for the child.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child’s progress, activities, and overall well-being.
Requirements
- Strong background in childcare, education, or teaching.
- Firm, disciplined, and professional approach, balanced with patience and care.
- Ability to organize structured routines and engaging educational activities.
- Energetic, proactive, and able to promote an active, sporty lifestyle.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
