Full-Time Live-Out Nanny job (M/F) in Dubai, UAE
Job description
A respectful, modern family with two children, a 5-year-old and a 9-year-old, seeking a Live-Out Nanny who will integrate smoothly into their life and daily routines. The household also includes a small family dog, and the nanny must be comfortable around pets.
The role supports the parent with after-school care, activities, and family life, with occasional travel (approximately 6 weeks per year) to Paris and Rio de Janeiro.
The family is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and proactive nanny who can provide structured, nurturing care, support the children’s daily routines and activities, and contribute positively to the household environment.
This is a long-term role requiring a candidate who is not only experienced and capable but also warm, engaged, and ready to form a trusting relationship with the family.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for the children after school hours.
- Plan and lead age-appropriate, stimulating activities (active play, outdoors, creative tasks).
- Keep screen time minimal; encourage active lifestyles.
- Prepare light meals and snacks for the children as needed.
- Support homework and learning in a structured, confident manner.
- Ensure the children’s safety, well-being, and emotional comfort.
- Attend to the children during travel with the family (summer & winter holidays).
- Integrate respectfully into family dynamics, participate in family routines.
- Maintain professional boundaries and discretion.
- Join the family for lunch when appropriate (encouraged).
- Evenings typically independent (dinner in nanny’s private time).
- Work collaboratively with existing household support staff.
- Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork in shared duties.
- Adapt daily tasks based on the family’s schedule and needs.
Requirements
- Experienced with childcare, particularly school-aged children
- English speaking and French and/or Portuguese language skills appreciated
- Energetic, proactive, and engaging with children (e.g., sports, play)
- Patient, kind, positive, and resourceful
- Flexible and adaptable with schedule changes
- Trustworthy and respectful with strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with dogs
- Driver’s licence a plus
- Candidates currently in Dubai are preferred for in-person meetings; profiles from the GCC may also be considered

Work conditions
- Location: Dubai / UAE (candidates already in Dubai preferred for face-to-face meetings; open to strong GCC-based candidates as needed)
Working Hours: - Monday – Thursday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (adjusted for school pickups)
- Start Date: As soon as the right candidate is identified
- Accommodation: Not provided (relocation assistance available if needed)
