Front of House/Hospitality Assistant job (M/F) in Wicklow, Ireland
Job description
One of our HNW clients is seeking an experienced and dedicated Front of House professional for their private residence in Wicklow.
The principals are looking for a polished, service-oriented individual with a warm and engaging personality, capable of delivering a high standard of hospitality within a luxury private home environment.
This role requires someone confident in guest-facing service, with a proactive and hands-on approach.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and welcoming front-of-house experience for the principals and their guests.
Responsibilities
- Table setting and service.
- Light housekeeping and daily tidying of reception areas.
- Maintaining presentation of living and entertaining spaces.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the household.
- Assisting with additional front-of-house and light house management duties as required.
- Professional meet and greet of guests.
- Preparing and serving drinks and cocktails.
- Providing attentive front-of-house service during small gatherings and private events.
- Assisting with event setup and breakdown.
Requirements
- Previous experience in private households, chalets, yachts, luxury hospitality or boutique environments.
- Confident and personable with excellent guest interaction skills.
- Well-presented, discreet, and professional always.
- Strong cocktail and beverage service skills.
- Hands-on, flexible, and proactive.
- Positive, energetic and service-driven mindset.
- Fluent English (spoken).
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-standard private environment.
- Proven front-of-house or hospitality experience.
- Strong service background (luxury hospitality preferred).
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends when entertaining.
- Full, clean driving licence required.
- Checkable references.
Work conditions
- Contract: Seasonal – November 2026 to May 2027
- Schedule: 5 days on / 2 days off
- Flexibility required for evenings and weekends when entertaining
- Potential for long-term opportunity subject to performance and client requirements
