Finnish-speaking Nanny job (M/F) in Dubai, UAE
Job description
A family in Dubai is looking for an experienced, Finnish-speaking nanny for their five-year-old daughter. She is a sensitive little girl, so the family is looking for an emotionally intelligent, patient and balanced nanny who can support her through conversation, warmth and understanding.
The ideal candidate will share the family’s open-minded and progressive approach to childhood, combining play-based development with support for her school curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Providing attentive, caring and emotionally attuned daily care
- Supporting her emotional development through patience, conversation and reassurance
- Encouraging learning and development through play
- Supporting her school curriculum, homework and reading
- Organising age-appropriate activities and outings
- Communicating with her in Finnish to nurture her language and culture
- Keeping her routines, belongings and room organised
- Keeping the parents informed of her progress and wellbeing
Requirements
- A native or fluent Finnish speaker, with excellent English
- An experienced nanny with childcare qualifications
- Holding a valid First Aid certificate
- Emotionally intelligent, patient, calm and balanced
- Open-minded, with a progressive and play-based approach to child development
- Ideally already based in the UAE
- Available to start as soon as possible, after a trial
Work conditions
- Employment visa provided by the family

- One day off per week
- 30 days of paid annual leave
- A return ticket home
