Family Chauffeur job (M/F) in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, France
Job description
A private family established in Saint-Germain-en-Laye is looking for a Family Chauffeur to take up the position in September.
The family includes four children whose school and extracurricular schedules are an integral part of the daily routine of the role.
You will work in a private and discreet environment, alongside a family accustomed to quality service. Your role is central to the organisation of their travel, and your reliability is non-negotiable.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the children's morning and evening journeys to the Lycée Franco-Allemand (departure 7:30 am / return 4:30 pm) as well as to their extracurricular activities in Versailles and the surrounding area
- Driving adult family members for business and personal travel
- Managing airport transfers (Roissy-CDG) and train station transfers (Gare du Nord)
- Planning routes in anticipation of traffic conditions
- Ensuring the safety, comfort and punctuality of all passengers
- Carrying out routine maintenance of the entrusted vehicle: interior and exterior cleanliness, fluid levels, recharging
- Demonstrating flexibility to adapt to unexpected changes in the family's schedule
Requirements
- Driving licence (Category B) required, with an impeccable driving record
- Confirmed experience with a private family or in VIP/executive driving
- Excellent presentation, absolute discretion and a strong sense of service
- Comfortable with children: calm, caring and responsible
- Fluent French essential
- Unwavering punctuality and reliability
- Flexible hours: morning/evening availability, occasionally at weekends
- Possibility of keeping the vehicle at home (garage or secure parking required)
- Experience with electric vehicles appreciated
