Job description

A prominent Ultra-High-Net-Worth family is seeking an accomplished Executive Housekeeper to oversee the daily operations and presentation of their residences in New York City and New Jersey. This is a senior-level role requiring exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and a deep understanding of luxury household standards.

The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining impeccable residences while managing housekeeping staff, systems, and protocols across multiple properties. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with prior UHNW experience who leads with confidence, precision, and a service-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of housekeeping operations across multiple residences.
  • Establish and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
  • Manage, train, and supervise housekeeping staff and vendors.
  • Create and enforce cleaning schedules, checklists, and household systems.
  • Expert care of fine furnishings, luxury surfaces, artwork, and wardrobes.
  • Laundry and wardrobe oversight, including fine garment and fabric care.
  • Prepare homes for principals, guests, and formal entertaining.
  • Inventory management and coordination with estate management as needed.
  • Always maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience working in UHNW or high-profile private households.
  • Prior experience in an Executive Housekeeper or senior housekeeping role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and proactive problem-solving ability.
  • Polished demeanor with a calm, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Flexibility to travel between NYC and New Jersey residences.
  • Long-standing references demonstrating reliability, discretion, and excellence.
