Job description

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper / Family Assistant that anticipates household needs, takes initiative without constant direction, and takes genuine pride in keeping a luxury home running seamlessly in Pinecrest, Florida. Discretion, professionalism and confidentiality are essential qualities for this role.

A busy family with three young children (ages 3, 5, and 6). While Mom is home full-time, we are not seeking a primary nanny. Instead, we need a dedicated professional whose primary focus is managing, cleaning, and organizing our residence to a 5-star hotel standard.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience working for high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, or executives in large private estates. You should be warm, trustworthy, highly professional, and comfortable stepping in to assist with the children as a secondary responsibility when an extra pair of hands is needed.

Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Estate Management (Primary Focus)

  • Full Interior Care: Perform daily, weekly, and deep cleaning to keep an 8,000+ sq. ft. residence immaculate and guest-ready at all times.
  • Laundry & Wardrobe Care: Wash, iron, steam, and properly care for everyday clothing, fine linens, and delicate garments. Maintain organized closets, care for luxury clothing, shoes, including steaming, seasonal organization, and coordinating dry cleaning when appropriate.
  • Bedding: Daily bed making and regular linen changing.
  • Organization: Maintain high standards of organization in all rooms, closets, play areas, and the pantry.
  • Pantry & Grocery Management: Track household inventory, restock supplies, manage grocery orders/runs, and ensure the kitchen and pantry remain clean and fully stocked.
  • Vendor & Delivery Coordination: Receive packages/deliveries, oversee service contractors (maintenance, landscaping, pool care, etc.), and ensure household repairs are handled efficiently. Oversee scheduling, coordinating, and following up with vendors to ensure work is completed to a high standard and household projects are seen through to completion.
  • Meal Prep: Light food preparation or basic meal assembly when requested (e.g., cutting fresh fruit, prep work for family dinners, simple lunches).

 

Childcare & Family Support (Secondary Focus)

  • Mother’s Helper Duties: Provide occasional assistance to the stay-at-home mom during busy transitions (e.g., mealtime, routine shifts).
  • Babysitting: Provide occasional supervision for the children during date nights, weekend errands, or family events.
  • Safety & Pool Supervision: Strong swimming skills are required to safely monitor children near or in the pool during family outdoor time.

 

Requirements

  • Relevant Experience: Prior experience in a high-end private home (8,000+ sq. ft.) working for executives, entrepreneurs, or high-net-worth families.
  • Proven Track Record: Excellent references demonstrating long tenure with previous employers, high integrity, discretion, and reliability.
  • Swimming Ability: Must be a confident swimmer (mandatory due to on-site pool).
  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no child transport required, but necessary for household errands/groceries).
  • Child-Friendly Demeanor: Warm, patient, and engaging personality around young children.
  • Proactive Mindset: Self-starter who notices what needs to be done without

Work conditions

  • Start Date: Flexible
  • Location: Pinecrest, FL (Miami)- Live-in or Live-Out
  • Schedule: Full-time schedule, must be flexible with long days as needed.

Salary

$75k - $90k annual gross salary, depending on experience.
