Job description

An exceptional, proactive, and flexible Executive Housekeeper / Family Assistant is required for a high-net-worth family at their 6,300 sq. ft. primary residence in Highland Beach, Florida.

This is a brand-new position created as the family hires their first dedicated domestic staff member.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who excels at running a pristine household, maintaining fine surfaces, managing wardrobe care, and providing reliable logistical support for the family’s two active boys (ages 11 and 12).

This role is perfect for a highly organized, seasoned candidate or an ambitious Executive Housekeeper looking to grow into estate and family administration.

Responsibilities

Housekeeping, Laundry & Estate Maintenance

  • Meticulous Housekeeping: Perform full-scale deep cleaning, daily tidying, fine surface
care, and organization across the 6,300 sq. ft. primary residence.
  • Laundry & Wardrobe Management: Oversee all household laundry, delicate garment
care, iron/steaming, and coordination of professional dry cleaning.
  • Vendor Coordination: Supervise external contractors (landscaping, pool, window
washers, and specialized maintenance) to ensure smooth estate operations.
  • Errands & Inventory: Manage grocery shopping, keep track of household supplies, and
    execute general errands.

Family Logistics & Transportation

  • Driving & Afternoon Logistics: Provide safe, dependable transportation support for two
boys (ages 11 and 12) to sports practices, games (travel baseball and soccer), and
    extracurricular activities—particularly when schedules overlap.
  • Schedule Alignment: Coordinate afternoon and weekend drop-offs/pick-ups seamlessly
    with the family’s routine.

Meal Preparation & Hospitality

  • Light Cooking: Prepare simple, fresh meals as needed. (The Principal manages breakfast
and lunch, and the family routinely dines out on Thursdays, keeping meal prep needs
    minimal).
  • Guest Support: Provide a warm, welcoming environment for family guests and assist
with light setup for casual gatherings.

Secondary Residence Care & Optional Travel

  • Puerto Rico Property Prep: Periodically (approx. once per month), assist with preparing,
stocking, and cleaning the secondary home in Puerto Rico prior to family arrivals.
  • Travel Flexibility: While travel to Puerto Rico is a nice option, it is 100% optional; lack
of travel availability is not a deal-breaker for the right local candidate.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in high-end housekeeping, laundress work, or household management.
Proactive, growth-oriented mindset—ideal for a candidate eager to step into broader administrative duties.
  • Strictly non-smoker.
  • Flawless driving record, valid driver’s license, clean background check, and strong professional references.
  • Exceptional judgment, natural boundaries, and high discretion regarding family privacy.

Work conditions

  • Work Arrangement: Full-time, live-out

Salary

$90,000 – $115,000 gross/year (depending on experience and qualifications).
