Job description
A warm and welcoming family of two adults, one child, and a small dog is seeking an experienced Driver / Maintenance Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day running of their household.
This is a long-term opportunity for a reliable, trustworthy, and discreet professional who is proactive, highly organised, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional standard of service.
The ideal candidate will be confident providing safe and professional driving services while also assisting with the general maintenance and upkeep of the property.
The family values integrity, initiative, attention to detail, and someone who enjoys working in a family environment and is comfortable around both children and Pets.
Responsibilities
- Driving the family for school runs, appointments, airport transfers, and errands.
- Keeping vehicles clean, serviced, and roadworthy.
- Coordinating vehicle maintenance and servicing.
- Running household errands requiring the vehicle.
- Assisting with heavier household duties and maintenance-related tasks.
- Gardening and outdoor upkeep.
- Supporting with dog care when required.
- Assisting with guest hospitality.
- Keeping common and shared spaces organized.
- Working closely with the family's Personal Assistant to ensure efficient household operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a domestic couple in a private household or luxury residence.
- Excellent housekeeping and household management skills.
- Valid UAE driving license (for the Driver / Household Assistant).
- Comfortable around children and animals.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of household privacy.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Non-smokers preferred.
- Available to start as soon as possible.
Work conditions
- Accomodation: Live-in accommodation provided.
- Meals / allowance provided.
- Work Schedule: 6 days of work per week with 1 day off.
- Location: The Palm Jumeirah Dubai, UAE
- Start Date: 8th August 2026
