Domestic Couple job in Villeneuve-sur-Verberie, France
Job description
The property is a ten-bedroom country house spread over two floors (with lift access), regularly hosting between 9 and 10 people, including teenage children.
Madame stays at the property on weekends. Madame is an artistic director in the luxury sector and has high standards.
The couple will be replacing the current caretakers, who are leaving their positions in September.
Responsibilities
- DIY and light maintenance work
- Window cleaning
- General upkeep of the property
- Interior housekeeping
- Healthy, balanced French cooking for the family and their guests
- Preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Grocery shopping
- Preparing the house ahead of arrivals, flower arrangements
- Household linen and ironing (laundry)
- Additional housekeepers already assist regularly alongside this role
- Two gardeners are already in place and autonomous in their duties
Requirements
- A serious, available, flexible, and professional couple
- Loyal, discreet, and trustworthy, with an absolute sense of confidentiality
- Ideally with a car and a valid driving licence (candidates without a vehicle will also be considered)
- Comfortable in a demanding environment: the house contains valuable items, silverware, and artwork

- Contract type: Long-term position, live-in
- Availability: Position to be filled quickly, with no handover from the current couple
- Accommodation: The couple will be housed on-site, in a separate two-bedroom house with an equipped kitchen.
