Job description
We are looking for a qualified Domestic Couple for a hunting estate located in the Sologne region (south of Orléans - 45), responsible for managing the interior and exterior upkeep of the property.
Position available immediately – Permanent contract (CDI), 39 hours/week, with independent accommodation provided.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and upkeep of the apartments and outbuildings.
- Preparing bedrooms ahead of guests' arrivals.
- Linen management (washing, ironing, storing) and dry-cleaning drop-off.
- Stock and inventory management.
- Meal preparation on request.
- Food shopping and other supply runs.
- Garden maintenance around the château (mowing, pruning, weeding, watering, etc.).
- Maintenance of the kitchen garden, terraces and outdoor furniture.
- Swimming pool maintenance.
- Ensuring proper upkeep of equipment (fountain, etc.).
- Minor repairs
- Driving on request
- Maintenance of 5 vehicles (washing, service record monitoring, etc.).
- Reporting to the Estate Manager (caretaker – male).
- Reporting to the Estate Butler (caretaker – female).
- General site security.
- Care of 2 dogs when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar professional environment.
- Autonomous, versatile and well-organised.
- Enjoys working in a rural environment.
- Strong sense of service.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility required.
- Absolute discretion and confidentiality towards the employer.
- Comfortable with pets.
- French-speaking.
- Driving licence required.
