Job description
For our client's secondary residence located in Saint-Tropez (Var), we are looking for a couple to fill the role of Assistant Property Managers, who will take charge of the overall management and caretaking of the property.
You will work alongside the current Property Manager Couple for several months to ensure the smoothest possible handover in preparation for their eventual replacement.
You will be working in a demanding environment inspired by luxury hospitality standards. This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis with accommodation provided. Start date as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Full interior and exterior maintenance of the entire property
- Linen management (washing, ironing and storage)
- Welcoming the owners and their guests
- Meal preparation during the employer's presence outside of summer
- Table setting and table service
- Assisting with the organisation of lunches and dinners during the summer season (chef on site)
- Ensuring the proper functioning and technical upkeep of all equipment: swimming pools, tennis court, gym, garden furniture, etc.
- Keeping terraces, pathways and outdoor installations clean and well-maintained
- Supervising gardeners working on the estate
- DIY and minor maintenance work
- Driving on request
- Maintaining the property's vehicles
- Welcoming outside contractors and overseeing their work
- Recruiting and managing temporary/seasonal staff as needed
- Receiving mail, parcels and deliveries
- Expense management (maintaining an accounts ledger)
- Regular reporting to the office
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years' experience in the management of a high-end villa or property
- Versatile, autonomous and dynamic individuals
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Flexibility required during the employer's stays
- Confidentiality and discretion towards the employers
- Culinary skills are a plus
- Rigorous, dynamic, detail-oriented and committed
- Category B driving licence required for at least one member of the couple
- French and English spoken is a plus

- Staff accommodation provided on the property: apartment comprising bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom
Salary
€6,400 gross/month for the couple (depending on profile)
