Job description

A warm, discreet European family is seeking an experienced Live-In German & English speaking Domestic Couple to manage and care for their large luxury chalet in Celerina / St. Moritz, Switzerland.

This is a long-term, permanent role, ideal for a professional couple who enjoy mountain living, autonomy, and maintaining a high-end property to excellent standards year-round.

The household operates with a “relaxed luxury” approach: informal and respectful, yet with very high expectations for organisation, cleanliness, and reliability.

The couple will act as full house managers of the chalet for most of the year.

The principals are typically in residence December to March, with occasional long weekends or shorter stays outside peak season. During busy periods, additional staff (housekeepers and a chef) are brought in.

For much of the year, the couple will work independently and autonomously, overseeing the smooth running of the property.

  • Pet care support when the family’s dog is present.

Requirements

  • Languages: German required – at least conversational / intermediate level, sufficient to communicate confidently with local contractors, suppliers, and service providers; English required to communicate with the family and other staff; Italian: a plus, but not essential
  • Experienced domestic couple with strong private household / estate background
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Highly reliable, discreet, organised, and detail-oriented
  • Practical, hands-on, and flexible in approach
  • Confident dealing with contractors and suppliers
  • Enjoys long-term roles and mountain lifestyle
  • Comfortable with pets
  • Driving licence required (both driving is a strong advantage)
