Job description
We are looking for a qualified, Spanish-bilingual Domestic Couple for our client's secondary residence located in Palma de Mallorca (Balearic Islands, Spain), responsible for the overall housekeeping and interior/exterior maintenance of the property.
The position is to be filled as soon as possible on a permanent, full-time basis. Independent staff accommodation is provided.
Responsibilities
- Carry out housekeeping tasks (cleaning, polishing, dusting, etc.) in tandem with one other person
- Laundry management (washing, ironing, folding and storage)
- Management of cleaning supplies inventory
- Food shopping and other procurement
- Meal preparation during the employer's presence
- Set-up and organisation of receptions and dinner parties
- Table setting and service
- Swimming pool and pool house maintenance
- Terrace and garden furniture upkeep
- Supervision and coordination with the existing team
- Ensuring proper maintenance of equipment and reporting any malfunctions
- Driving on request
- Vehicle maintenance
- Welcoming service providers and overseeing their work
- Reporting to the office
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the management of high-end properties
- Versatile, dynamic, autonomous and well-organised individuals
- Strong sense of responsibility and service
- A passion for cooking and the art of entertaining
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility required
- Discretion and confidentiality guaranteed to the employer
- Spanish language skills required
- Driving licence required for both members of the couple
