Domestic Couple job in Liege, Belgium
Job description
A family is looking for an experienced and versatile Domestic Couple to take full charge of a beautiful property with grounds and outbuildings, located in Belgium.
Living on site, the couple will serve as the main point of contact for everything relating to the smooth running of the property.
This role requires autonomy, discretion and a genuine sense of service.
Responsibilities
- Outdoor: maintenance of the grounds and green spaces (mowing, pruning, weeding), pathways, terraces, fencing and gates, management of the swimming pool and leisure areas, minor maintenance work, coordination of external contractors.
- Indoor: upkeep of the main residence (cleaning, laundry, ironing), preparing the house ahead of the family's arrivals, managing shopping and supplies, table service during receptions when required.
- Security & Management: general surveillance, managing access and deliveries in the owners' absence, monitoring alarm systems, heating and technical equipment, regular reporting to the owners.
- Childcare: on an occasional and periodic basis, the couple will supervise the family's three children (aged 7, 17 and 18) in the parents' absence. This involves a caring and reassuring presence, with no specific educational responsibilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role in a private environment
- Complementary skills between both members of the couple (indoor/outdoor)
- Fluent French and good level of English
- Valid driving licence for each (mandatory)
- Absolute discretion, autonomy, reliability and excellent presentation
