Job description
We are seeking, for our client's secondary residence located in Cannes (Alpes-Maritimes), an experienced Domestic Couple to handle interior and exterior maintenance as well as the security/caretaking of the property.
Strong gardening skills are required for the upkeep of the garden.
Position available mid-November - Permanent contract (CDI), 35 hours/week, with independent accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Interior maintenance (cleaning, dusting, polishing…)
- Preparing bedrooms ahead of the owner's arrival
- Managing laundry (washing, ironing, storing)
- Managing household stock
- Preparing meals when the employer is present
- Grocery shopping and other supply errands
- Garden maintenance (mowing, pruning, trimming, weeding, watering, planting…)
- Maintaining tools and equipment
- Managing plants
- Maintaining the terrace and outdoor furniture
- Maintaining the pool and pool house
- Ensuring proper maintenance of equipment (air conditioning, heating, technical/utility room…)
- Handywork and minor repairs
- Driving as needed
- Vehicle maintenance (washing, tracking service records…)
- Receiving deliveries
- Welcoming external contractors and following up on their work
- Managing the alarm system
- Monitoring and safeguarding the property
- Managing expenses (keeping an account book)
- Reporting to the employer
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar professional environment
- Versatile, independent, and organised individuals
- Strong sense of responsibility and service
- Solid gardening skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Flexibility required
- Discretion and confidentiality guaranteed to the employer
- French speaking
- Driving licence required

Salary
€4,500–5,000 net/month (depending on profile)
