Job description

Morgan & Mallet is a luxury staffing agency. We place exceptional private staff, including butlers, housekeepers, nannies, private chefs, and estate managers, into households around the world.

We're hiring a Content Manager to own the content for our US market. This is a hands-on role focused on creating strong content, planning it, and keeping it moving. You'll write, edit, and manage the content, the content calendar and the workflow that takes a piece from first idea to published.

You'll join a small, senior marketing team. The content you produce builds the Morgan & Mallet brand with US clients and candidates, and shapes how people understand who we are.

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit the content yourself. Articles, web pages, guides, and more for our US audience.
  • Understand SEO, GEO, keyword and topic research, and write for our users but with SEO and GEO best practices in mind.
  • Take ownership of all the content on the website, and the quality of it.
  • Run the content workflow from end to end, from brief to draft to review to publish, and keep the calendar on track.
  • Use AI tools to make the work more efficient, for research, checking sources, and getting started. We write our content ourselves. AI helps us move faster, it doesn't write for us.
  • Keep quality high. Edit your own work and other people's to the same standard. Real substance, no fluff, no AI tells.
  • Turn our team's expertise into content. We have lots of in-house knowledge and we want to get that into our content.
  • Brief and coordinate everyone who touches content, including writers, designers, and developers.
  • Keep content organized and current. Spot pages that need a refresh and act on it.
  • Make sure everything sounds like a person wrote it and fits our brand voice.
  • Work with the wider marketing team so content supports our goals in the US.

Requirements

  • A strong writer and editor. You can spot weak writing and fix it fast.
  • Proven experience creating content that people actually read, ideally for a US audience.
  • A strong understanding of SEO and GEO, and the keyword and topic research that goes into it.
  • A genuine understanding of AI tools, and how to use them to research and support content work without losing quality or voice.
  • Experience planning and running a content calendar.
  • The ability to manage a content workflow and keep several pieces moving at once.
  • Excellent written US English.
  • Speak English fluently is a must.
  • Strong organization. You track the details and hit deadlines without being chased.
  • Someone who brings ideas and gets on with it, rather than waiting to be told what to do.

Nice to have

  • A background in luxury, hospitality, recruitment, or any HNW-facing services.
  • Confidence in WordPress.
  • Experience working with subject-matter experts to turn their knowledge into content.

Work conditions

  • Location: Remote. We're open on location for the right person, with a focus on our US market.
  • Hours: Full-time.
  • Reports to: Head of Marketing.
  • Team: A small, senior marketing team.

Salary

Competitive, to be discussed based on experience.
