Close Protection Officer job (M/F) in Dubai, UAE
Job description
A Dubai-based family is seeking an experienced Close Protection Officer to provide discreet, everyday security for the family, primarily the wife and children.
There is no specific or elevated risk to the family; this is a general protective and situational-awareness role rather than a high-threat assignment. The right candidate will bring a strong, credible background but fit naturally into family life without creating a heavy security presence.
Responsibilities
- Stay close to the family day to day, primarily the wife and children
- Maintain constant awareness of the surrounding environment
- Provide protection and support while the family is travelling
- Handle all basic security fundamentals: route awareness, venue checks, general vigilance
- Integrate smoothly into family life, calm and low-key rather than overt
- Oversee the household staffing & Personnel who is at the property.
Requirements
- Background in the British Military, Royal Marines, or Army
- Strong, credible security background
- Sharp, switched-on, and good under pressure
- Personable with a positive, easygoing manner, someone the family will be comfortable having around daily
- Valid driving licence required
- Comfortable working around children
Work conditions
- 5/ 6 days a week with flexibility
- 10 to 12 hours a day
- Location: Dubai
- Start Date: ASAP
- Visa and Medical insurance provided
