Job description
We are seeking, for our client's primary residence located in Paris 75006, a Chef/Butler responsible for meal preparation, event/reception management, as well as the general upkeep of the household.
This is a permanent contract (CDI) – 35 hours/week. Position to be filled as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Meal preparation (simple, varied, and balanced cuisine)
- Menu suggestions, subject to employer approval
- Food management (expiration dates, labeling, storage, etc.)
- Management of food stocks and other supplies
- Grocery shopping
- Table setting and table service according to the number of guests
- Ensure the general upkeep and good order of the household
- Management and scheduling of technical or maintenance interventions with outside service providers
- Wardrobe/dressing room management (organization)
- Ensure clothing, shoes, and accessories are kept in good general condition
- Preparation of outfits upon request
- Additional services (dry cleaning, alterations, post office, pharmacy, etc.)
- Purchase management with reporting
- Maintaining a contact book (suppliers, craftsmen, etc.)
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar professional setting
- Autonomous, versatile, and dynamic individual
- Attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Passion for cooking and mastery of the Art of the Table
- Confidentiality and discretion assured to the employer
- French and English spoken; English is a plus
- Driving license required
