Job description

In the heart of Courchevel 1850, the most prestigious resort in the French Alps, an exceptional chalet conceived as a masterful balance between private residence and exclusive luxury rental is looking for a Chalet Manager (M/F) for the winter 2026/2027 season.

This chalet welcomes an international UHNWI clientele with expectations of impeccable, highly personalised service, delivered with discretion and precision. The minimum rental period is one week; each stay is a bespoke experience.

The Chalet Manager will occupy a central and strategic role within a team comprising a Head Chef, an outsourced housekeeping team and a Butler/Driver. They will be the guarantor of the smooth running of the chalet, the quality of service and the complete satisfaction of guests throughout their stay.

A rare opportunity to join one of the most exclusive private properties in Courchevel 1850 for an exceptional season.

Full-time fixed-term contract (CDD) from early December 2026 to end of April 2027. Staff accommodation in Courchevel provided comfortable, fully equipped and independent from the guests' chalet.

Responsibilities

Guest Welcome & Stay Management

  • Managing guest check-in and check-out to the highest standards of luxury service
  • Conducting arrival and departure property inspections
  • Welcoming, accompanying and giving a tour of the chalet upon each arrival (using the service vehicle to collect guests when required)
  • Anticipating guest needs and expectations before, during and after each stay (sending and following up on preference lists, etc.)
  • Working with the concierge service and PA (providing concierge services when not handled by the PA or intermediary agency)
  • Occasionally accompanying the family/guests by vehicle when required
  • Conducting agency and prospective client visits during the period

 

Team Management & Coordination

  • Supervising and coordinating the entire on-site team: Chef, Butler, Driver and outsourced housekeeping team
  • Ensuring the flow of information and guaranteeing team cohesion
  • Onboarding and training new staff members in line with the chalet's standards
  • Managing work schedules according to activity levels (establishing and optimising in collaboration with management)
  • Reporting on the operational management of the chalet to senior management

 

Technical Maintenance & Operations

  • Understanding the technical aspects of the chalet and monitoring their proper functioning
  • Acting as first responder in the event of a breakdown or malfunction finding a temporary solution while awaiting contractors
  • Managing contracts and relationships with external service providers
  • Knowledge of Courchevel and an up-to-date contact book of local service providers

 

Administration, Stock & Invoicing

  • Rigorous monitoring of chalet stock and supplies
  • Placing specific client orders: cakes, flowers, spirits, etc.
  • Editing and checking guest invoices before presentation no approximation tolerated
  • Managing and accounting for expense advances when necessary
  • Using the company card in accordance with management directives / cash register management
  • Proficiency in Excel and digital tools (Outlook, WhatsApp, email) is essential

 

Food, Beverage & Table Service

  • Familiarising oneself in advance with guests' dietary requirements and allergies
  • Setting up and serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner when required
  • Adapting the drinks offering in collaboration with the Butler when required
  • Organising special touches for celebrations: birthdays, weddings, etc.

 

Guest Service & Excellence

  • Remaining constantly attentive to guests and providing tailored solutions to every request
  • Anticipating expectations before they are expressed (coordinating and booking on behalf of guests)
  • Handling complaints with professionalism and identifying appropriate corrective actions
  • Coordinating and booking external activities and reservations on behalf of guests: skiing, restaurants, massages, etc.
  • Daily checking of cleanliness, condition and presentation of all areas
  • Ensuring the freshness of floral arrangements throughout each stay

Requirements

We are looking for an exceptional professional a leader, discreet, passionate about service excellence and capable of embodying the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

  • Confirmed experience in luxury chalet management, high-end private residences or luxury hospitality
  • Training in hotel and restaurant management is appreciated
  • Fluent French and English essential a third language is an advantage
  • Impeccable presentation and exceptional eye for detail
  • Natural leadership, ability to motivate and unite a team, strong organisational skills
  • Autonomy, initiative and resilience in the face of the unexpected
  • Anticipation, adaptability and responsiveness
  • Flexibility and availability
  • Absolute discretion and constant professionalism
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong sense of customer service
  • Proficiency in digital and office tools: Excel, Outlook, WhatsApp
  • Knowledge of Courchevel and its luxury service provider ecosystem is appreciated
  • Strong, verifiable professional references required
  • Driving licence mandatory

Work conditions

  • Location: Courchevel 1850 – 73120, France
  • Contract: Seasonal fixed-term contract (CDD) – full-time – executive status
  • Working hours: Variable – to be defined with the employer
  • Start date: No later than 1 December 2026 (allow for one week of chalet opening at end of November/early December) and one week of chalet closing (end of April)
  • Accommodation: Staff accommodation in Courchevel comfortable, fully equipped and independent from the guests' chalet

Salary

Excellent remuneration from €5,100 gross/month (depending on profile and experience)
