Job description
For our client's second home in Saint-Tropez (Var), we are looking for an Assistant Estate Manager Couple to take charge of the full management and security of the estate.
For several months, you will work alongside the estate manager couple currently in place, ensuring a thorough handover ahead of succeeding them.
You will work in a demanding environment inspired by the standards of luxury hospitality.
This is a full-time permanent position with accommodation included, starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the upkeep of the entire property, both inside and out
- Take care of the laundry (washing, ironing and putting away)
- Welcome the owners and their guests
- Prepare meals during the employer's stays outside the summer season
- Set tables and provide table service
- Help organise lunches and dinners during the summer (in collaboration with the chef)
- Ensure the proper functioning and technical maintenance of equipment, including the swimming pools, tennis court, gym and outdoor furniture
- Keep the terraces, pathways and outdoor areas clean
- Supervise the gardeners working on the estate
- Carry out DIY and minor maintenance work
- Drive the owners on request
- Oversee the maintenance of the estate's vehicles
- Welcome external contractors and monitor their work
- Recruit and manage seasonal staff or extras when required
- Receive mail, parcels and deliveries
- Manage expenses and keep an accounts ledger
- Report regularly to the office
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years' experience managing villas or high-end properties
- A versatile, autonomous and dynamic couple
- A strong sense of responsibility
- Availability and flexibility during the employer's stays
- Absolute discretion and confidentiality
- Culinary skills appreciated
- Rigour, attention to detail and strong commitment
- A full car driving licence (Category B) is required for at least one member of the couple
- Fluency in French and English is an asset

Salary
€6,400 gross per month (depending on profile)
