Job description

The company

Morgan & Mallet International is an international group specialising in the recruitment and management of high-end private household staff (butlers, chefs, housekeepers, private hospitality teams). Present in France, the United Kingdom, the United States and Dubai, the group is experiencing strong growth and is structuring its finance function to support its development.

Purpose of the role

Ensure the operational running of the group's finance function by applying the established processes, on a tooled and documented system, guaranteeing the reliability of data, the regularity of invoicing and collections, the proper execution of payments, and the effective coordination of the finance function with the other departments and third parties.

The role is at the heart of the group's daily operations and works closely with the HR and commercial departments, the management and the outsourced finance management.

The role spans several entities, several countries, several currencies and recurring flows of invoicing, collection, suppliers, commissions and accounting coordination.

Reporting line and environment

  • Reports to management (the founders).
  • Works in functional coordination with the outsourced finance management (steering, processes, routines, tools).
  • Daily coordination: recruiters (all geographies), HR and payroll, clients (invoicing and collections), suppliers, external accountants in each country.
  • Central role within the finance function. Strong autonomy in day to day execution, within a defined framework of processes, validation and controls.
  • Role attached to the group's entity based in Dubai, working remotely, with the possibility of in-person coordination sessions as needed by the team based in the United Arab Emirates.
  • Candidates already based in the United Arab Emirates, with a valid residence status, are required.

Scope

All the group's entities: France, the United Kingdom, the United States, Dubai. Both activities are covered: recruitment and the management of staff on behalf of clients.

Responsibilities

Financial data and upkeep of the management tool

  • Entry and control of sales invoices, purchase invoices and bank transactions, with bank reconciliation.
  • Maintaining the management tool (Zoho) as the single source of truth, reliable and up to date, in line with the rules of control and validation at source.
  • Upkeep of the reference data (clients, suppliers, payees).

Client, supplier and treasury operations

  • Clients: consistency check of quotes, invoicing, monitoring of collections, reminders, management and recovery of receivables, credit notes.
  • Suppliers: processing of purchase invoices and expense claims, monitoring of recurring contracts, preparation and initiation of payments within the cash plan and the defined approvals.
  • Treasury: updating of short term cash data, monitoring of forecast collections and disbursements, preparation of the elements needed for cash steering.
  • Payments, changes of payees, credit notes and sensitive operations fall within an approval framework defined by management and the outsourced finance management.
  • Commissions: calculation and monitoring of recruiters' commissions.

Coordination

  • Direct point of contact for clients (invoicing, collections) and suppliers (invoices, contracts, payments).
  • Regular, structured check-ins with recruiters to streamline quotes and invoicing.
  • Coordination with HR and payroll, in particular for data on placed staff.
  • Coordination of the accountants in each country: making data available, obtaining regulatory and statutory items.

Steering and cross functional tasks

  • Reliable feeding of the steering tools, under the supervision of the outsourced finance management.
  • More broadly, any task directly related to the smooth running of the group's finance function.

Requirements

Experience

  • 6 to 8 years' experience in finance, management accounting or financial administration, ideally in a multi-entity or international environment.
  • Education in accounting, management or finance (bachelor's or master's level, or equivalent); at this level of experience, track record matters more than the diploma.

Technical skills

  • Good accounting and financial understanding (without performing the bookkeeping itself, which is outsourced).
  • Proficiency with SaaS financial management tools (knowledge of Zoho or an equivalent tool is an asset).
  • Good command of the Microsoft suite, in particular Excel.

Languages

  • Fully bilingual French-English required (spoken and written), as the role operates across French and English speaking entities.

Qualities

  • Rigour and reliability, attention to detail.
  • Autonomy in execution and strong personal organisation.
  • A taste for a structured, well defined role and strict adherence to processes.
  • Discretion and a strong sense of confidentiality.

This role suits someone who enjoys strengthening reliability, monitoring, following up, documenting and keeping a finance system running smoothly on an ongoing basis.

Success in the role

Success in the role will be measured by the reliability of data, adherence to invoicing and payment deadlines, the quality of collections monitoring, the smoothness of coordination with internal teams and third parties, and the ability to keep the finance processes running autonomously and without disruption.

Work conditions

  • Role based in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), working remotely with occasional in-person presence as needed.
  • Employment with the group's entity in Dubai.
  • Work (residence) visa and medical insurance covered by the company.
  • Candidates already present in the United Arab Emirates are preferred.
  • Full-time, in accordance with UAE local law.
  • Start date: from August 2026.

Salary

Equivalent to €45k-€50k gross per year, paid in AED according to the local Dubai scale.
