The butler’s private life
Do butlers get days off ?
Whilst the butler has to be available for the family they work for, they also have days off as in any other job. It might not be the usual weekend or two days in a row, but in order to do their job well and to be responsive they need time off for themselves.
Can a butler get married ?
There is no such rule. However, since the butler needs to be focused on their job, and to be free at any time for their principal, having a private life while exerting this profession can be hard.
