Job description

A European family is seeking a highly qualified Live-In Nanny in Dubai, UAE, to join their household and support the overall development of their two young boys (ages 3 and 4).

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant college degree, preferably in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a similar field, and will be able to combine standard nanny duties with educational and developmental support tailored to the children’s needs.

This is a live-in role, with accommodation provided within the main house. Flexible working hours are offered, and the family is fully staffed with a chef and housekeeping team, allowing the nanny to focus on the children.

Candidates currently outside the UAE who are willing to relocate are welcome, with flights covered by the family.

Responsibilities

Childcare & Development:
  • Support the children’s overall development through age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
  • Assist with morning routines and preparation for nursery school.
  • Escort children to nursery, playdates, martial arts, parks, and other scheduled activities.
  • Implement routines for meals, naps, and bedtime (children sleep at 9:00 PM).
  • Encourage social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment at all times.

 

Household Support Related to Children:
  • Perform light household tasks related to the children, such as tidying play areas and organizing children’s belongings.
  • Assist with meal or snack preparation for the children if required (note: the family has a chef for main meals).

 

Flexibility & Coordination:

  • Work flexible hours according to the family’s schedule, including early mornings to prepare the children for nursery.
  • Children attend nursery during the day, allowing for vacant hours that can be used for planning activities or light household tasks.
  • Coordinate with other household staff (chef, maids) to ensure smooth daily routines.
  • Travel with the family: The nanny will be required to accompany the family on trips, including 3 months in Europe this summer and 10 days in Switzerland in December.
  • The family arranges and covers all visas, flights, and related travel expenses.

Requirements

  • Relevant college degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or similar field.
  • Proven experience caring for young children (ages 3–6).
  • Experience supporting children’s learning and developmental growth.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Patient, nurturing, and energetic personality.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and collaborative with other household staff.
  • Comfortable in a live-in role with a long-term commitment.
  • Willingness to travel with the family as required.
