Job description

We are seeking a confident, upbeat, and proactive Live-In Housekeeper to join a warm, high-energy Swiss/French family living in a 5-bedroom villa in Dubai. This is a busy household with three young children (ages 2, 3, and 6), a live-out driver, live-in nanny, and another housekeeper.

The ideal candidate will be experienced, switched-on, highly organized, and have a naturally positive, bubbly, and “can-do” attitude. A background in 5-star hotels, UHNW families, corporate housekeeping, or royal households is strongly preferred.

This is a role requiring excellent initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate needs without repeated direction.

You must be comfortable working in a team, maintaining 5-star standards, and supporting a vegan family. This is a live-in position with private accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an impeccably clean, organized, and hygienic home to 5-star hotel standards, including hard-to-reach areas and corners.
  • Daily housekeeping: cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, tidying, laundry, ironing, wardrobe management.
  • Cooking and food preparation - ability to cook healthy international meals and a willingness to learn vegan dishes.
  • Prepare and pack bags for outings, school needs, and family travel.
  • Assist with household logistics and prioritizing daily tasks.
  • Support childcare when needed in a kind, playful, and responsible manner.
  • Manage household inventory and weekly/daily stock checks using a smartphone or iPad.
  • Work harmoniously with the nanny, driver, and other housekeeper; contribute to a positive, respectful work atmosphere.
  • Present confidently and professionally when guests visit; assist with serving.
  • Demonstrate strong initiative, responsibility, and the ability to anticipate needs ahead of time.
  • Help maintain outdoor and shared spaces when needed.
  • Support with deliveries and occasional pet care.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in similar roles (private households, royal family residences, UHNW environments, or five-star hotels).
  • Strong expertise in cleaning, organisation, laundry, and ironing.
  • Confident cook, with openness in preparing vegan cuisine.
  • Proven experience working with children.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Energetic and physically active, able to manage a fast-paced household.
  • Positive, bubbly, and friendly personality.
  • Smart, proactive, and quick to learn new routines.
  • Strong attention to detail with pride in delivering high-quality work.
  • Mature, kind, and patient when interacting with children.
  • Discreet, respectful, and comfortable working as part of a household team.
  • Able to learn new routines quickly without the need for repeated instructions.
  • Adaptable, calm under pressure, and open to constructive feedback.
  • Well-groomed, professional, and presentable at all times.

Work conditions

  • Live-in position with a private bedroom and bathroom; shared kitchen with the other housekeeper.
  • Travel required: the family travels approximately three months per year, and you may be required to accompany them.
  • Five-bedroom villa with a structured household team, including a nanny, driver, housekeeper, and family assistant.
  • Six-day work week, 12 hours per day.
  • Visa sponsorship and medical insurance provided.
  • One annual return flight to the home country.
  • All meals provided while on duty.

Salary

AED 5,000–7,500 per month.
