Job description
We are recruiting for a private luxury chalet located in Megève (Haute-Savoie – France) a House Manager responsible for the overall upkeep of the property and the management of household operations.
The position is available immediately on a full-time permanent contract (CDI).
Responsibilities
- Daily maintenance of the chalet (cleaning, polishing, dusting, waxing, etc.)
- Full responsibility for laundry care (washing, ironing, and storage)
- Stock management (household and cleaning supplies)
- Preparing the chalet prior to the owner’s arrival
- Ensuring the overall presentation of the property and proper functioning of all equipment
- Welcoming and coordinating external service providers
- Receiving parcels and deliveries
- Running errands (post office, pharmacy, dry cleaning, florist, etc.)
- Grocery shopping
- Welcoming guests and attending to their needs
- Regular communication and reporting to the employer
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar private household role or in luxury hospitality
- Dynamic, versatile, and autonomous individual
- Strong organisational skills and a 5-star service mindset
- Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills
- Absolute discretion and confidentiality required
- Flexibility expected during periods when the employer is in residence
- French required; English is a plus
- Valid driving licence required

Salary
