Job description
A lovely family based in Jumeirah Golf Estates is seeking an experienced and professional Head Housekeeper to oversee the smooth day-to-day running of their
private residence.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high housekeeping standards, is highly organised, and enjoys working within a warm family environment.
The household consists of 2 adults, 1 toddler, and an infant expected in the near future, along with 3 friendly dogs, therefore the successful candidate must be comfortable around pets.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the home to an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness and presentation
- Perform daily deep cleaning and general housekeeping duties throughout the residence
- Ensure all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, and outdoor areas remain tidy and organised
- Handle fine surfaces, delicate materials, and high-end household items with care
- Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards throughout the property
- Expert-level laundry and garment care
- Washing, ironing, steaming, folding, and organising clothing and linens
- Care for delicate fabrics, luxury garments, and special-care items
- Organise wardrobes, drawers, and storage areas
- Monitor laundry supplies and ensure stock levels are maintained
- Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules
- Coordinate household routines and ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Maintain organisation across all household areas
- Assist with setting household standards and systems
- Monitor household supplies and groceries
- Restock cleaning products, toiletries, pantry items, and household essentials
- Maintain inventory lists and communicate replenishment needs promptly
- Ensure household supplies are always well organised
- Work respectfully and professionally around the family’s schedule
- Be comfortable in a household with young children and infants
- Provide occasional assistance in child-related areas when needed
- Maintain discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times
- Comfortable working around 3 dogs
- Ensure pet areas remain clean and organised
- Must genuinely enjoy being around animals
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Head Housekeeper or Senior Housekeeper within a private household
- Currently based in Dubai
- Strong English communication skills
- Excellent laundry and ironing skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Experience creating and managing housekeeping schedules
- Professional, discreet, and trustworthy
- Comfortable working in a fully staffed or semi-formal household environment
- Comfortable around dogs
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Flexible, proactive, and service-oriented attitude
Work conditions
- Accomodation: Live-in positions (own en-suit room)
- Work Schedule: 6 days per week (flexible day off – Saturday or Sunday)
- Location: Jumeirah Golf Estate, Dubai, UAE
- Start Date: Immediately Available
