Full-Time Private Chef job (M/F) in Wicklow, Ireland
Job description
One of our HNW clients is seeking an experienced and dedicated Chef for their private residence in Wicklow.
The principals are looking for a flexible, trustworthy and discreet individual who is willing to go the extra mile to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the household.
The successful candidate will be hands-on, proactive and happy to assist where needed.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of fresh, nutritious, home-style meals.
- Daily cooking for the principals.
- Weekly meal planning and menu creation.
- Grocery shopping and sourcing high-quality ingredients.
- Kitchen organisation and stock management.
- Confident front-of-house service for guests, small gatherings and occasional events.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a private household, chalet or yacht Chef.
- Strong spoken English.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Checkable references from previous employers.
- Warm, pleasant and approachable personality.
- Trustworthy, discreet and highly professional.
- Fluent spoken English.
- Energetic, capable, and hands-on with a strong “can-do” attitude.
- Previous experience working within a private household.
- Confident managing shopping, food preparation, and kitchen organisation.
- Comfortable interacting with guests and supporting entertaining.
Work conditions
- Accommodation: Provided (for live-in option)
- Schedule: Full-time, 5 days on / 2 days off
- Flexibility required for alternative evening, weekends and Christmas
- Contract: Seasonal contract from November 2026 to May 2027, with the potential of continuing long-term subject to performance and mutual agreement
- Start Date: November 2026
