Job description
A fully staffed private household in Kuwait City is seeking a dedicated Live-In Housekeeper. This role is exclusively focused on laundry and wardrobe care. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of laundry, including washing, ironing, folding, fabric care, and wardrobe organization.
This is a permanent, full-time position within a professional and respectful household. You will not be required to perform cleaning, childcare, or other household duties, your focus will be entirely on laundry and wardrobe management.
Responsibilities
- Complete laundry care for the household, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding.
- Handling luxury, delicate, and designer fabrics with the correct care techniques.
- Professional ironing, steaming, and pressing to the highest standards.
- Wardrobe management: organizing clothing, seasonal rotation, and storage.
- Care for bed linen, towels, and table linens, ensuring they are always pristine.
- Packing and unpacking clothing and linens for travel when required.
- Maintaining laundry equipment, detergents, and supplies.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven laundry experience in a private household, hotel, or luxury setting.
- Expert knowledge of fabric care and garment handling techniques.
- High skill in ironing, steaming, and garment presentation.
- Experience with wardrobe management (organization and upkeep).
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and precision.
- Must be discreet, professional, and reliable.
- Excellent personal hygiene and grooming standards.
Work conditions
- Live-in (shared bedroom and bathroom)
- 6 working days per week
- Based in a spacious property in Kuwait
- Start date: ASAP
