Job description
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, based in Gstaad, Switzerland, an experienced Caretaker Couple, preferably bilingual French–Tagalog, to ensure the interior and exterior maintenance of a private chalet.
The position is to be filled as soon as possible and is offered on a full-time permanent contract (CDI equivalent), including a self-contained staff accommodation.
Responsibilities
Interior Maintenance & Household Duties
- Carry out daily housekeeping tasks.
- Full laundry management (washing, ironing, folding, and storage).
- Manage household cleaning supplies and stock levels.
- Perform grocery shopping and other supplies upon request.
- Assist with cooking when required.
- Table setting and service.
Exterior Maintenance & Property Care
- Snow removal and clearing of outdoor areas.
- Waste management, including recycling.
- Maintenance of terraces and outdoor furniture.
- Ensure proper maintenance of household and technical equipment.
- Perform basic DIY and minor repairs.
Additional Services & Estate Management
- Provide driving services upon request.
- Vehicle care and maintenance (cleaning, basic follow-up, service logs).
- Receive parcels and deliveries.
- Ensure overall security and surveillance of the property.
- Welcome and supervise external service providers and contractors.
- Care for the family’s dogs in the absence of the employer.
- Provide regular reporting to the employer.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar private household or estate role.
- Dynamic, autonomous, and well-organised couple.
- Strong sense of responsibility and service.
- Interest in cooking.
- Good communication skills.
- High level of flexibility.
- Absolute discretion and respect for confidentiality.
- Fluent in French and Tagalog, or French and English.
- Valid European passport required.
- Valid driving licence (at least one member of the couple).

Salary
CHF 7,000–8,000 gross per month, depending on profile and experience
