He helped produce M&M’s first annual salary report demonstrating his skill in content creation and industry analysis.Â
An AI enthusiast, Ben champions quality writing while rejecting em dashes and lazy AI-generated content. His current favorite tools include Gemini, Relevance.ai, and Typingmind.

Before M&M, Ben managed high-volume content strategies with a focus on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and organic traffic growth. He occasionally offers SEO suggestions at M&M, though defers to Patrick, the in-house expert.Â
His background also includes advanced email marketing automation, where he crafted high-conversion sequences and autoresponders, and direct response copywriting.Â
Through all these projects, he formed a love-hate relationship with WordPress that continues today.
Ben brings this expertise to M&M, applying email marketing and direct response principles to the firm’s content.Â

He continually applies teachings from direct marketing masters to his work, drawing on David Ogilvy for brand building, Claude Hopkins for scientific advertising principles, and Gary Halbert for the power of the written word.

He is currently wrestling with Distinction by Pierre Bourdieu. The goal is to understand the psychology of wealth from the inside, something difficult when you’re not yet an ultra high net worth individual yourself.
