Job description

We are seeking a refined and highly capable Travelling House Manager to support UHNW Principals across multiple residences worldwide.

This is a fast-paced, international travelling role requiring exceptional organisational ability, discretion, flexibility, and strong operational oversight.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted right-hand, taking full ownership of household operations, ensuring seamless coordination between residences, and maintaining impeccable standards across all environments.

You will work closely with the Travelling Personal Assistant to ensure smooth execution of the Principals’ lifestyle, travel, and day-to-day requirements.

Responsibilities

Household & Residence Management
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple residences across various locations.
  • Manage and coordinate household staff, including scheduling, training, and performance oversight.
  • Ensure all properties are maintained to the highest standards at all times.
  • Implement and maintain household systems, procedures, and service standards.
  • Manage household inventories, procurement, and stock levels.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and external contractors.
  • Prepare residences ahead of the Principals’ arrival with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Manage household budgets, expenses, and reporting where required.
  • Ensure operational efficiency and consistency across all properties.

 

Lifestyle & Household Support
  • Support the Principals’ day-to-day lifestyle needs within the residence.
  • Coordinate private events, dinners, and gatherings.
  • Oversee wardrobe management, laundry, and personal items across locations.
  • Liaise with chefs, service staff, and suppliers to ensure exceptional service standards.
  • Run errands and source items locally and internationally.
  • Support wellness-related routines within the home (spa, fitness, etc.).

 

Travel & Logistics Support
  • Travel internationally with or ahead of the Principals to prepare residences.
  • Coordinate the setup and breakdown of residences during travel periods.
  • Manage packing, unpacking, and wardrobe transitions between locations.
  • Oversee the movement and organisation of personal belongings across residences.
  • Ensure seamless transitions between homes and respond to last-minute changes.
  • Act as the on-site point of contact for all household-related matters during travel.

 

Staff & Operations Coordination
  • Work closely with the Travelling Personal Assistant to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Act as the bridge between household operations and the Principals’ schedule.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train household staff when required.
  • Create staff schedules and ensure full operational coverage.
  • Maintain high service standards through ongoing supervision and leadership.
    Liaise with external suppliers, contractors, and service providers.

Requirements

  • Exceptionally organised with strong operational capabilities.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a perfectionist approach.
  • Calm, composed, and solutions-driven under pressure.
  • Highly discreet with experience handling confidential matters.
  • Proactive with excellent anticipation skills.
  • Flexible with irregular hours and frequent international travel.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Comfortable managing multiple residences and complex logistics.
  • Previous experience as a House Manager, Residence Manager, Chief Stewardess, or similar UHNW role is essential.
  • Yachting experience is highly advantageous.
  • University education preferred but not essential.

Work conditions

  • Accommodation: Provided during travel
  • Work Schedule: Full-time with flexibility required
  • Location: Cairo, Egypt / Worldwide travel (including Dubai, Europe, USA)
  • Start Date: Immediate

 

Salary

€5,000 – €6,000 per month (depending on experience) + full package (travel, accommodation, insurance, daily allowance)
