Full-Time Private Tutor and Judo Coach job (M/F) in Dubai, UAE
Job description
A private family is seeking an experienced Private Tutor (Governor) and Judo Coach to provide comprehensive educational, moral, and physical development for a 6-year-old boy.
The role combines structured character education, high-level athletic training in judo, and international travel support in a long-term engagement.
Responsibilities
- Deliver structured character education emphasizing discipline, respect, responsibility, and self-control.
- Support the child’s moral development and ethical understanding.
- Design and implement a long-term (2–4 year) educational and physical development program.
- Provide professional judo training and oversee overall physical development and conditioning.
- Teach the history and philosophy of martial arts, with an emphasis on Eastern traditions.
- Establish and maintain a structured daily routine.
- Organize and accompany the child to domestic and international sports competitions.
- Travel internationally with the family as required.
- Ensure the child’s health, safety, and well-being at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum English proficiency: A2–B1 (conversational level).
- At least 10 years of experience working in private households, with proven success in one-to-one upbringing of boys under 8 years old.
- Verifiable professional references.
- Documented competitive or professional achievements in judo.
- Relevant higher education in Physical Education, Sports Science, Coaching, or Pedagogy (Physical Education specialization), or equivalent professional certification.
- Preferred: Experience living in monasteries or similar disciplined environments, with the ability to integrate this philosophy into child development.
Work conditions
- Location: Dubai, UAE (until May 2026); thereafter split between Moscow Region, Russia, and Dubai, UAE
- Schedule: 6 days per week, 1 day off
- Accommodation: Full board and private accommodation provided
- Vacation: 1 month annually or two periods of 15 days; travel expenses to vacation destination covered
- Pre-Employment Requirements: Medical examination and polygraph testing
