Full-Time Private Tutor job (M/F) in Paris 17th, France
Job description
A family based in the 17th arrondissement of Paris is seeking an experienced Private Tutor / Educator to support two children aged 4 and 8, who present attention and concentration difficulties.
This is a long-term position within a structured family environment, with the aim of providing consistent, reassuring, and effective academic and educational support after school.
Responsibilities
- Support the children with homework and school-related tasks.
- Help structure study time and reinforce focus and concentration.
- Provide age-appropriate educational and learning activities (educational games, reading, calm activities).
- Organise daily outdoor activities such as walks or appropriate outings.
- Establish a clear, calm, and supportive framework.
- Maintain open and constructive communication with the parent regarding progress and needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with school-aged children, ideally with attention-related challenges.
- Structured, patient, and encouraging educational approach.
- Ability to set clear boundaries while maintaining a positive relationship with the children.
- Calm, reliable, discreet, and responsible.
- Fluent French required.
Work conditions
- Two boys, aged 4 and 8
- Parents are separated (shared custody, two homes in Paris 17th)
- Working hours:
- Monday to Friday: 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- Wednesday: full day
- Start date: as soon as possible
- Live-out position
- No pets in the household
