Full-Time Nanny/Housekeeper job (M/F) in Neuchâtel, Switzerland
Job description
We are looking for our client living near Neuchâtel in Switzerland, an experienced bilingual Nanny/Domestic Employee to accompany his 3 children, aged 4, 8 and 10, as soon as he leaves school.
The person will be responsible for the trips from school to their extracurricular activities, the management of shopping as well as the preparation of evening meals for the family.
The profile sought is versatile and organized, capable of managing the daily family rhythm with efficiency and benevolence.
The candidate will also have to know how to prepare a balanced cuisine for the family and ensure reliable and safe driving for the transport of children.
She will have to collaborate with a cleaning lady already on site and maintain a natural and attentive relationship with the children, while integrating harmoniously into the family organization. Position to be filled as soon as possible, on a 100% permanent contract.
Responsibilities
- Providing reliable and logistical support to facilitate parents' active daily lives.
- Ensure the order and tidiness of the living spaces of the house.
- Management of food shopping and other supplies.
- Preparation of homemade meals for the family, healthy, varied and balanced vegetable-based cuisine.
- Table setting and non-formal table service.
- Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy and adhering to hygiene standards for equipment.
- Pick up the children from school at 3:30 p.m.
- Preparation and supervision of children's snacks.
- Ensure the trips to and from each child's activities.
- To ensure the well-being and comfort of the children on a daily basis, until the return of the parents, thanks to attentive, caring and quality support.
- Travelling with the family on demand during the school holidays.
Requirements
- Caring, professional, well-organised, and adaptable.
- Proactive, discreet, responsible, and highly trustworthy.
- Fully invested, with the ability to work in a high-end family environment with strong standards of punctuality, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Strong understanding of family dynamics and the ability to adapt to daily household routines.
- Proven childcare experience.
- Ability to prepare homemade, healthy, and varied meals using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
- Seeking a stable, long-term position.
- Bilingual in English and French (Portuguese is a plus).
- Flexible to travel occasionally with the family to the mountains during school holidays.
- Eligible to work in Switzerland.
- Valid Category B driving licence with a reliable and safe driving record.
