Full-Time Domestic Couple job in Saint Tropez, France
Job description
For our client’s second residence located in Saint-Tropez (Var), we are looking for a Couple of Assistant Managers to work in tandem with the Managers currently in place, overseeing both general stewardship and property supervision.
The selected candidates must appreciate high-end service and be comfortable operating in a demanding environment, aligned with luxury hospitality standards.
With the long-term objective of replacing the current Couple of Estate Directors, the selected couple will progressively take responsibility for the overall management of the property, working closely with the on-site staff to ensure the daily comfort of the owners and their guests.
This is a full-time, permanent position, available as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
Household & Property Management
- Guarantee the interior and exterior maintenance of the entire property to the highest standards, in coordination with the staff on duty.
- Linen management (washing, ironing, and storage).
- Welcome the owners and their guests.
- Prepare meals during the employer’s stays outside the summer season.
- Table setting and table service.
- Participate in organising lunches and dinners during the summer period (with a chef on-site).
Technical Maintenance & Outdoor Areas
- Ensure the proper functioning and technical maintenance of all equipment: swimming pools, tennis court, gym, etc.
- Maintain patios, walkways, and outdoor facilities clean and tidy.
- Supervise gardeners working on the estate.
- Perform light DIY tasks and routine maintenance.
Logistics, Transport & Administration
- Provide transportation for the employers and their guests.
- Maintain the property's vehicles.
- Manage the reception of service providers, mail, parcels, and deliveries.
- Manage expenses and basic bookkeeping.
- Ensure regular reporting to the principals.
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position within a very high-end environment.
- Strong autonomy in organising daily responsibilities.
- Discretion, reliability, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to build a relationship of complete trust and confidentiality with the employers.
- Culinary skills appreciated.
- Rigour, dynamism, attention to detail, and strong involvement.
- Calm, warm, and professional temperament.
- Driving licence (B) required for at least one member of the couple.
- Spoken French and English are a plus.
