Job description
We are seeking, on behalf of our client located near Caen, in Calvados (14), a Companion (Lady’s Companion) to support her in her daily life and ensure her well-being.
The candidate will also be responsible for light housekeeping duties and caring for the animals on the property.
The position is available as soon as possible – permanent contract (CDI) or self-employed status.
Full-time position with a schedule of 15 days on / 15 days off. Accommodation is provided during the working period (15 days).
Responsibilities
- Ensure the employer’s well-being.
- Provide companionship and conversation.
- Accompany the employer to outings, appointments, and visits.
- Drive the employer when required.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the home.
- Prepare meals.
- Handle grocery shopping
- Run errands (pharmacy, dry cleaning, post office, etc.).
- Welcome external service providers.
- Receive parcels and deliveries.
- Care for the animals on a daily basis (dog, horses, donkeys, fish).
- Maintain the vegetable garden.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar professional environment.
- Kind, patient, versatile, and autonomous individual.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to take initiative.
- Comfortable working around animals.
- High level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Flexible.
- French speaking.
- Valid driver’s license required.

Salary
€1,800–€2,000 net per month (depending on profile)
