Full Time Live-in Private Chef Cook Job Offer and Vacancy in Frankfurt, Germany
Lovely couple with one 7 yo child living in a 2000 m2 property in Frankfurt, Germany, is looking to hire a Private Chef Cook (M/F) to elaborate daily balanced and fresh meals for the family and occasional guests.
The ideal candidate likes to cook simple but fine and elegant dishes using fresh, light, healthy and mostly organic ingredients. For large diners or events, extra-staff will be hired to assist the chef with the service.
For this position we are looking for a profile with attention to details, finesse, high flexibility and a lot of creative energy with a passion for food who likes to serve well-presented menus. The chef will adapt rapidly to the family’s taste and preferences and be able to take initiatives. Ideally, the chef will integrate this busy and constantly moving family and accompany them when they travel.

Vacancy duties and responsibilities
- Prepare daily meals for the family (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- Cook for occasional guests
- Cook for two staff
- Create menus according to the family’s desires and preferences
- Simple but fine, elegant, light, healthy and balanced cooking skills
- Respect eventual restrictions, allergies or dietary requirements
- Fridge management
- Grocery shopping at the market and online orders
- Check products for quality and freshness
- Ability to source local, organic, high quality and seasonal products and ingredients
- Set up the table and informal service
- Monitor food inventory, organise and manage stocks and follow the budget guidelines
- Make sure the kitchen area, the equipment and all utensils are pristine at all times
- Occasional traveling with the family
Profile requirement
- M/F
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a private chef in a private household or on a Yacht
- Trustworthy, reliable and highly discreet
- Passionate about his work
- Creative and positive personality able to create and suggest menus according to the client’s taste and preferences
- Dynamic and autonomous personality
- Ability to work under pressure and in a stressful environment
- Attention to detail and to the principal’s requirements
- Respect of hygiene and security rules
- English speaker (native or fluent)
- Excellent presentation and communication
- German and/or French is a plus
- Driving licence
