​Our domestic staff candidate database

Each candidate is followed and supported by a dedicated consultant, who is familiar their profile, career and experience. The consultants are also responsible for conducting comprehensive background and reference checks. 

Every candidate goes through a rigorous verification process; they are interviewed at least twice by our consultants and managers, firstly to understand their goals and career path and secondly in response to a specific employment request corresponding to their profile.   

Each candidate has a complete file containing thoroughly verified documents, including: a Curriculum Vitae, cover letter, references from previous employers, qualification certificates, ID card or passport, driving license, CRB check, work permit, pay slips and employment contracts.

We also offer the possibility of a five-minute personalised video presentation of the candidate, which will be sent by e-mail with their complete profile.  This allows you to view them face-to-face to ascertain their suitability for the required position.   

Our extensive database comprises only the finest candidates with a minimum of three year's experience working for private individuals, luxury hotels, or trained in leading European institutions for high-end service. 

Our partnership with top British, French, American and Swiss training schools grants us exclusive access to highly qualified household and domestic staff fully suited to the demand of our clients.

How do we recruit household staff?

Morgan & Mallet International begins by carefully assessing your needs and lifestyle. 
Once this has been completed, we collaborate further to draw up the ideal candidate profile for the position(s) you require. 

With our experience, we are also able to advise you on planning for your future employee(s), including defining the salaries, working conditions and responsibilities of the roles being filled.

Our recruitment and vetting processes
Candidate Interview

After presenting you with selection of candidate profiles based on your needs and requirements, you have the option to interview them via telephone or Skype. If you prefer to meet in person, our staff are also available to organise this.
 
All the documents relating to the candidate will also be supplied in advance of the interview. 

 
Suitable Candidates

Morgan & Mallet International locates and selects candidates who correspond exactly to your needs. 

In order for you to effectively ascertain the quality and personality of every candidate we select and provide you with detailed interview notes from our expert recruitment consultants. In cases where candidates are living abroad or far from the vacancy location, our staff offers to organise face-to-face interviews (including flights, trains, hotel, taxi as appropriate and charged to the client).  Clients also have the choice of a first interview via Skype or telephone, prior to meeting in person. 

 
Employment contract 

When a client wishes to offer a position to one of our candidates, we can establish a draft agreement of the job proposal to ensure total confidence for both parties.  

Once the candidate has accepted the offer, they are then employed directly by the client.  An exception is made in the case of temporary contracts, where our agency hires the candidate and bills the client. 


Settling in new employees

In the case of relocation, our staff provides help and support for chosen candidates during the initial settling in period.  This is inclusive of accommodation, visa requirements and work permits.  


Advisory services

Morgan & Mallet International's consultants are here to advice you on all aspects of the recruitment process. They can provide help and expertise regarding taxes, insurance, work contracts, safety procedures and many other domains. 


Service guarantee

We offer a three-month guarantee on all long-term placements (excluding yacht crews) subject to our terms and conditions as stipulated in the recruitment contract. Our goal is to build a long lasting relationship with our clients and their household staff. 

 
Follow-up of placement

We consider this final step to be the cornerstone of our unique service.  

After successfully placing our candidate, we maintain close contact with both parties to assess the working relationship. We provide extensive post-placement support service and are always available for our valued clients and their new employees.
