Looking to Hire a Private Head Chef Cook in Doha, Qatar
Full Time Live-out Private Chef Cook Job Offer and Vacancy in Doha, Qatar
VVIP family is looking for a Head Chef in Doha, Qatar to manage her kitchen and staff, and to oversee all kitchen operations. He will be in charge of providing high quality and fine dining menus to a family of 7 according to the family's special requirements and dietary restrictions.
The ideal candidate is a native or fluently English speaking person with a 5* restaurant experience, baking experience and a wide range of cuisines. He/she will provide high quality, fresh, healthy and balanced meals respecting dietary requirements, calorie intake and food allergies of the Principals, their family and their guests.
The Head Chef will be assisted by an Assistant chef as well as by a kitchen porter. He/She will also have to cook for 3 to 4 staff. Occasional traveling might be required.
Our client's strong preference is for a Head Chef who has worked for Michelin starred restaurants like "Alain Ducasse" or similar famous names.
The interview might take place in London, UK.
This is a full time and permanent position to start as soon as possible. Housing allowance is provided and all travel and moving costs are covered.

Vacancy duties and responsibilities
- Prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for the Principal, his family and his guests
- Healthy, vegan, fresh, organic and delicate cuisine
- Manage the kitchen team
- Work within policies and regulations
- Check and review suppliers LPOs, prices, quality, quantity and freshness of deliveries
- Able to constantly develop, design, create and cook new menu dishes and ingredients within dietary restrictions
- Prevent and report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards or unsafe practices and procedures
- Accompany the family in their local and international travels when required
- Seek regularly feedback and accomodate changes to satisfy the family and their guests
- Cooking for 4 to 5 staff
- Use conscientiously resources aiming for efficiency and winimum wastage within allocated budget
- Keep the refrigerator/pantry/kitchen area well stocked and clean at all times
- Keep the kitchen cooking area pristine and always store ustensils and cooking equipment in an organised fashion
Profile requirement
- At least 5 years of experience in 5* gastronomic restaurants
- At least 3 years experience in a similar role in private households
- High discretion required
- Knowledge of a variety of culinary lifestyles with emphasis on healthy, vegan and vegetarian high quality cuisine
- Highly flexible and organised person
- Creative and progressive mind set updating himself/herself with new recipes
- Able to perform and deliver under stress and last minute's request
- English native or fluent, Arabic a plus but not required
- 3 years hospitality management or equivalent culinary university degree
- Strong background in HACCP procedures and application, ensuring the kitchen adheres to safety and health regulations
- A person who values the importance of seasonality, local products, and high-quality, good ingredients
- High work ethics and sense of service and duty
- Able to run and manage a kitchen team
- Valid driving licence

- Working contract: Permanent and full-time: 8 hrs/day, 6/7, early morning and late evening shifts.
