Private Travelling Executive Chef Vacancy in Malibu, California, USA Description
VVIP family based in Malibu, USA, and with a luxury private villa in St. Tropez, France (2 month stay) requires an Travelling Executive Private Head Chef with experience in private luxury residences and yachts, who would professionally organise the kitchen and create tasty, healthy meals for the family.
The person has to respect the tastes of the family members, dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy free), likes and dislikes and propose dishes of international cuisine. The Chef will be responsible for the procurement of fresh produce and designing of international cuisine menu’s.
You will be required to create and plan very clean, tasty International Dishes with gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options when required. An open minded, willing and positive person will be greatly rewarded in this position.
The right person must speak fluent English. The position has a live in option. Once a candidate has been selected, the client will arrange all flights, accommodation and requirements.

Vacancy duties and responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the quality of the dishes prepared in the kitchen
- Create and submit menus for approval
- Train and control the kitchen team 4 people
- Cooperate with the sous-chef to organise the kitchen
- Cook international cuisine (Asian, European, Moroccan)
- Daily cooking for the family (8 people)
- Prepare child friendly meals
- Prepare meals for personnel (lunch and dinner)
- Guide the team for organising banquets and receptions
- Manage the stock and place orders
- Manage relations with suppliers
- Respect the hygiene and safety rules - HACCP guidelines
- Organise the kitchen cleaning to the highest standard
Profil requirement
- Experience in five star restaurants or similar environment
- Experience in private families, yachts or private residences
- Verifiable references
- Able to speak fluent English
- Knowledge of Asian and European cuisine
- Excellent organisation and management skills
- Professional
- Team spirit and good diplomatic skills
- Cuisine Requirements Include: Thai, Arabic, Asian, Italian and additional offerings.
Job Condition
- Full time contract
- Live-out position - housing allowance budget provided or Live-In
- Annual return ticket to country of origin.
