We are currently searching for a professional Household assistant to undertake day-to-day housekeeping responsibilities for the luxurious properties of our esteemed UHNW clients in the Belgravia, London, UK.

This is a full-time role demanding meticulous attention to detail and the ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Ensuring the properties are impeccably clean and tidy, with efficient completion of all cleaning tasks in alignment with priorities.
  • Keeping Housekeeping storerooms adequately stocked at all times.
  • Performing cleaning duties as directed by the Group Executive Housekeeper.
  • Handling machine and hand washing, drying, and ironing of linens and clothing.
  • Inspecting and reporting on the condition of linens, towels, cloths, service-wear, chinaware, and flatware, providing advance notice for any necessary replacements.
  • Efficiently managing the laundry function and providing assistance during busy periods.
  • Demonstrating exceptional care when handling fabrics, colours, wash cycles, and ironing temperatures, ensuring personal laundry is washed, ironed, and stored correctly.​

Profile requirement

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in high-profile private households and/or 5-star hotels.
  • Meticulous, punctual, and discreet in all tasks and interactions.
  • Possesses tact, professionalism, politeness, and a polished demeanour.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality, demonstrating trust, integrity, and high personal standards.​

Conditions

  • Full-time position with 40 hours per week.
  • Five-day week with rotational shifts when the house is occupied.
  • 25 days of paid holiday, in addition to bank holidays.
  • 1-hour paid lunch break.
  • Annual discretionary bonus.
  • Pension scheme available.
  • Death in service benefit.

£26100 per annum.
