A family is looking for a full-time Head Housekeeper/Butler on a permanent contract for their main residence in Montpellier.
Responsible for organizing the family's activities as well as maintaining the house (400 sqm) and handling the cooking. You will assist the owners in their daily routines.
You will also supervise service providers (housekeeper, handyman, gardener, tutoring assistants, delivery personnel, etc.).
Occasionally, you will coordinate the management of a high-end chalet rental in Courchevel (remotely) and an apartment in Montpellier. Some occasional travel may be required based on the family's trips.
You will oversee the recruitment of a Housekeeping Employee, of which you will be the manager.
This is a live-in position near the residence with a company vehicle provided.
The position needs to be filled promptly.

Vacancy duties and responsibilities
- Housekeeping, cleaning, and organizing of the house, including managing a housekeeping employee.
- Laundry care (cleaning, ironing, maintaining, and organizing laundry).
- Daily maintenance of the pool and SPA.
- Meal preparation (traditional, balanced, and family cooking).
- Table service (informal).
- Procurement management (local suppliers and supermarkets).
- Assisting with some transportation and school trips for children (aged 12 to 15).
- Assisting with household administrative tasks (supplier invoices, subscriptions, service providers, etc.).
- Organizing and supervising on-site personnel, overseeing interventions by suppliers and service providers.
- Managing equipment and the proper functioning of home automation, ensuring equipment functions well and reporting any malfunctions.
- Regular reporting to the employer.
Profile requirement
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in a private family.
- Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.
- Good interaction with children.
- Energetic and proactive.
- Organized, versatile, and self-reliant.
- Flexible and mobile.
- Demonstrates discretion towards the employer.
- Appreciation for high-end environments is a plus.
- Driver's license.
- French Speaking
Job Condition

Head Housekeeper Salary
Starting from €3000 net/month depending on the profile.
