Head Housekeeper Job
A private client is looking for a permanent Head housekeeper for their weekend estate in Newbury, UK.
The property consists of three cottages (7 bedrooms) and the main House (15 bedrooms).
The right candidate must be extremely active and flexible in terms of duties and working hours. This position can be live-in or live out. The start is as soon as possible.
Requirements
- 4 years’ experience in a similar position
- Fluent English
- Hard working and versatile
- Flexible
- Initiative
- Willing to do a lot of housekeeping duties
- Organised and able to manage various tasks at once
- Excellent team player
Duties and responsibilities
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the property and general cleaning of the estate
- Cleaning the property together with two housekeepers
- Managing and assisting housekeepers
- Good knowledge of the cleaning products
- Laundry and ironing management
- Schedules and calendars organizing
- Reporting to the estate manager
- Performing estate manager duties when he is not in the property
Schedule
Wednesday – Monday
From 8 am to 5 pm (Friday and Saturday – flexible)
Accommodation will be provided within the estate
Salary
30 000 – 35 000 GBP gross – live-in position and 40 000 GBP gross for a live-out position
