Domestic Couple Job


​A lovely couple based in London is looking for an experienced guardian couple / domestic couple for an estate based 25 kms West of Amsterdam. There are 5 houses on 25 hectares of land. Two gardeners work on the ground.

​One house is the principal’s house and the others houses are for children and guests.
 
This is a permanent position and to start November/December 2017.
 
Required profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the same position
  • Reliable and organized
  • Discreet, trustworthy and careful in carrying out tasks
  • Driving license
  • Respecting the confidentiality of the employer
  • English speaking

Tasks and responsibilities
​
  • Full property maintenance and cleaning 
  • Helping the two gardeners 
  • Cleaning rooms, using cleaning products 
  • Inventory of maintenance products 
  • Ironing, washing, storing linen 
  • Reporting and signaling of any technical problems or incidents related to the residence 
  • Managing grocery and food shopping 
  • Setting up the table 
  • Providing outdoor, terraces and garden maintenance 
  • Providing alarm management, property monitoring  
  • Ensuring security of goods and persons 
  • Liaising with contractors and external providers 
  • Performing driver duties if necessary 

Schedules
 
Full time with flexibility during the owner's presence required
Holidays to be determined
 
Salary 
 
EUR 7 000 – 8 000 gross/month (depending on the profile and experience) 
 
Accommodation
 
Nice and comfortable cottage on the estate
