Private Chef Cook Job and Vacancy


A family of 3 (1 child) living in Manhattan, New York is looking for a private Chef/cook to prepare tasty and healthy meals for the whole family. Sometimes family arranges dinners for their friends and acquaintances so  the chef should be able to cook and serve meals to a high standard.2 housekeepers currently work in an apartment.

This is a live out position. 

Requirements
  • Experience of working for private families as a Chef-cook
  • Ability to cook dishes of various cuisine
  • Fluent English
  • Driving licence

Duties and responsibilities
  • Cooking for the family and their child 
  • Preparing tasty and healthy food 
  • Table service when required
  • Preparing light drinks for the family and guests
  • Making list of produce and equipment for proper work in the kitchen
  • Purchasing of products and kitchenware
  • Ensuring the produce are always fresh and healthy
  • Training the housekeepers in table service if needed

Schedule
Monday – Friday, occasionally on weekends
Flexible working hours

Salary
Negotiable, depends on the candidate’s profile
