Our repeat client is seeking to hire a professional Housekeeper who will join the team of 5 housekeepers. The Employee's normal place of work will be in the Kensington area of London.
The client is seeking an organized individual who takes pride in their position, is willing to go the extra mile when needed, and has an eye for detail. Periodical travel is a requirement for this position so you must have a UK or EU passport.

Keys Responsibilities
- Providing an exceptional standard of service to the family and their guests.
- Must be comfortable working around cats.
- Upkeep of housekeeping standards and circulating throughout the property and outside to ensure that all standards and operational flows are well maintained.
- Care of bedroom suites, changing beds, replenishing linen, bathrooms, kitchen, garden.
- Attending to the needs of the principal and making their environment as comfortable as possible.
- Supporting members of the operational house team to deliver the highest level of personal service to the principal.
- Liaising with the Principal’s to ensure wardrobes and other requirements are well taken care of.
- Assisting the day to day running and working in all areas of the laundry (washing, pressing, sorting, spot cleaning and dry cleaning).
- Trip planning and packing/unpacking for the principals.
- Responding to any other ad hoc duties as required by the family – a high level of amenability and flexibility is required.
Profile requirement
- The perfect candidate should have experience in a similar role, preferably in a semi-formal, fully-staffed household.
- They should exhibit high standards of service and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- The individual must possess a keen eye for detail.
- Candidates with solid 5 star hotel experience will also be considered for this role.
- The candidate should demonstrate a proactive attitude, willingness to go the extra mile
- They should also be comfortable working around cats.
- As part of a larger housekeeping team, the candidate should be a team player and have excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with other staff members as well as the principals.
- The ability to travel as required is an aspect of this role, hence a valid UK or EU passport is necessary.
- The candidate should be flexible and open to changes in work schedules, including working on weekends and holidays, and performing duties outside regular housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Proficiency in all aspects of laundry tasks is essential.
- The candidate should also be familiar with maintaining wardrobes and ensuring all requirements related to them are well taken care of.
- Legal Requirements: The candidate must be legally eligible to work in the UK, as well as travel within the EU when necessary.
Job Condition
- The working schedule shifts cover 5 days per week and between 9am till 5pm, Monday to Friday
- The Employee's holiday year runs between January 1 and 31 December and the Employee’s holiday entitlement is 28 days of annual leave including English Bank and Public Holidays.
- The package will also include enrolment to the NEST pension scheme.
Housekeeper Salary
Salary up to £42,000 per annum, contract-only basis
