One of our UHNW client is looking for a professional, experienced and discreet Head Housekeeper who will be responsible for the day-to-day housekeeping function of the property in Knightsbridge, London, United Kingdom.
We are looking for a tactful, professional, polite and polished individual who is able to maintain the utmost confidentiality at all times.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the property ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed with a reasonable time frame to the highest possible standards.

Vacancy duties and responsibilities
- Constantly monitor the Family, guest suites and common areas to check fruit bowls, drinks trays, ashtrays, waste bins, replacing used towels, changing bed linens as needed, topping up toiletries and stationery, watering plants, changing water vases daily, checking TVs and mesh pads are clean and on charge, footwear maintenance and watering all exterior plants;
- Clean, dust, polish, vacuum and maintain floors;
- Care for special finishes including marble, silver, fabrics, china and glass;
- Ensure that lighting levels and air temperature are satisfactory, controlling costs and wastage;
- Keeping laundry and house pantry stocks, giving ample lead time for re-ordering, liaising with the House Manager as required;
- Check the condition of linens, towels and cloths, service-wear, chinaware and flatware, advising the House Manager where needed for new supplies with ample lead time;
- Liaise with the Chef and House Manager, assisting with food and beverage service when needed;
- Ensure the effective management of the laundry function, assisting with the laundry where necessary during busy periods;
- Take special care with fabrics, colours, wash cycles and ironing temperatures and making sure all personal laundry is washed, ironed and stored in the correct manner.
- Lead the both the permanent and temporary housekeeping team, ensuring delivery of the highest standard of housekeeping services and acting as a mentor for their professional development;
- Identify any maintenance and repair issues and immediately report them
Profile requirement
- Minimum 5 years' experience in high profile private household and / or 5* hotels
- Meticulous, punctual and discreet
- Tactful, professional, polite, polished and always maintain the utmost confidentiality
- Display complete trust and integrity, as well as the highest morals and personal standards
Job Condition
- Full-time employment
- Work schedule of Sun-Thur (with Fri/Sat) off each week. There will be alternating early/late (one week early, one week late) shifts throughout summer so a degree of flexibility is required
Full Time Head Housekeeper Salary
- Salary DOE in the range of £50 000- £55 000 gross per annum
