Full Time Live-out House Manager Job Offer and Vacancy in Toronto, Canada
Our client is seeking an experienced House Manager/Cook who will oversee the day-to day operations of her Toronto residence, Canada.
The candidate will be hands on, responsible for all the details of the home. The home has appropriate housekeeping staff, two of whom are comfortable in the kitchen.
The successful candidate will be one that thrives in an environment with defined processes and standards. They will enjoy maintaining and developing the manuals and checklists that support a well-organized home. The position requires a high energy individual with an excellent work ethic and a sense of pride in work well done. And importantly, the candidate understands that all assigned tasks are taken on with full ownership, and seen through to completion, in a timely manner.
The employer is an excellent cook but lacks the time for day-to-day meal preparation. The candidate will have the primary responsibility for organizing the food and cooking in the household. This would involve planning, shopping for and preparing simple healthy meals with the assistance of an Executive Housekeeper and a weekend housekeeper.
The role requires that the candidate be comfortable working in close collaboration with a very hands-on Employer who cares greatly for their home. Daily “touch base” meetings, weekly reports, and an open and constant dialogue define the management style of the principal.
Finally, the home is highly cultured, semi-formal, but are kept to the highest standards. A busy house the home is not precious, but it is demanding.
The position is live out, accommodation is not provided. This is a permanent full-time position starting as soon as possible.
