House Manager Job Offer and Vacancy
UHNW Russian family is looking for a House Manager with highly developed management skills to oversee and motivate existing staff members with tact and diplomacy, as well as recruiting and training new members to the team. The family’s main residence is in London, UK as all of their children go to school here, but they also travel a lot.
The family have 2 Drivers 2 Housekeepers, Handyman, Chef and Nannies.
Requirements
- Proven 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role (big family, medium size households and managing 6-8 staff)
- Excellent organisational and managerial skills
- Precise with great attention to detail
- Strong financial management skills

- Able to work autonomously and motivate a team
- Butler skills are not essential but some knowledge if table service and dinner parties routine would be beneficial.
- English speaking (Russian may be beneficial)
Responsibilities
- To be the main point of contact for any residents or visitors to the property
- Liaising with suppliers and contractors
- The management of all staff employed at the property
- Organisation of all staff rotas
- Overall supervision of all HR matters, including payroll, contracts, and any disciplinary issues
- Greeting and receiving guests
- Training of other staff to provide correct levels of service when required
- Supervision of the housekeeping team in maintaining and caring for all wardrobe items
- Acting as a personal assistant for any member of the family as required
- The organisation of all daily logistics for all family members
- Keeping accurate records of any property related expenses
- Responsibility for a petty cash float for the property
- The overseeing of all security procedures for the property
- Liaising with the drivers, chef, tutors, etc.
- To ensure that the property is stocked with all necessary items to facilitate the smooth day-to-day running of the property as a family home
Schedule
5-6 days a week with flexible working hours when family is away
More Information
- Statutory holiday of 20 days + Bank Holidays (days in lieu given for Bank Holidays worked)
- Reduced hours when the family are not in residence

£60K gross per year
